How to get the game data?

  1. Click on this link: https://app.startrektimelines.com/player?client_api=24&only_read_state=true
  2. Log in using your ingame credentials.
  3. Wait a while for your browser to read all the data. It can take few seconds.
  4. Save the page to file or select all text by pressing CTRL+A and copy it to clipboard by pressing CTRL+C.
  5. Change advanced settings in the following form if necessary.
  6. Paste the text from clipboard to form field using CTRL+V, or upload the downloaded file.
  7. Select the output file you want to create.
  8. Press the Create output file button and save the file to disk.
Information for players with multiple game accounts...
If you have multiple accounts, we recommend using your browser in InPrivate mode (Edge) or Incognito mode (Firefox / Chrome) to avoid caching your account credentials, making it easier to change accounts.

Game data upload on iOS...
  1. Go to your player data using the link provided, logging in if asked.
  2. Wait for the page to finish loading. It should start with: {"action":"update","player": ...
  3. Press the share icon while viewing the page.
  4. Tap 'options' and choose 'Web Archive', tap 'save to files', choose a location and save.
  5. Come back to this page (STTEVE).
  6. Tap the button to upload the file.
  7. Choose the file starting with 'player?client_api...' from where you saved it.

GDPR - Game data processing rules...
STTEVE reads your game data in JSON format in order to create selected output file(s) for you. It collects the following limited set of data for statistical purposes:
  • Date and time you sent a request to STTEVE
  • Name of requested output file (e.g. “crew.csv”)
  • Result status of processing input data (OK/ERROR)
  • Anonymized DBID (SHA-1 fingerprint of your DBID so that original value cannot be reconstructed)
  • Your level in game
  • Your VIP level in game
These data were carefully picked in order to 1. keep the game identity of STTEVE users hidden at maximum and 2. still provide useful statistic data.

Collected statistic data will be used for future decisions about next STTEVE's development and fate, based on interest of STT players to use this tool.

For maximum transparency, you can check the content of statistics for current month.
